Thank you for using Vaultory Authenticator 2FA ("the App"). We take your privacy very seriously. The App is designed from the ground up to be completely offline, privacy-focused, and secure.
Please read the following Privacy Policy carefully:
1. Information We Collect
The App does NOT collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information.
- The App is a pure local authenticator.
- We do not upload your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Secret Keys, account names, passwords, or any other data to any external servers or clouds.
- We do not use any third-party analytics or crash reporting services to track your usage behavior.
2. Where is Your Data Stored?
All account information and secret keys are encrypted at the highest level and safely stored exclusively in the secure enclave of your local device (such as Apple Keychain and Core Data). This data can only be decrypted and viewed locally after you authenticate via your device's biometrics (Face ID / Touch ID) or pattern lock.
3. iCloud Sync (Pro Feature)
If you choose to enable the iCloud Sync feature, your encrypted data will be securely synced across your devices using Apple's iCloud service (CloudKit).
- This data resides strictly within your personal, private iCloud account.
- We (the developers) have absolutely no access, visibility, or control over your synced data.
4. Use of Camera Permission
The App requires access to your device's camera when scanning QR codes to add new accounts.
- Camera access is strictly used locally to recognize and parse QR codes containing 2FA secret keys.
- We do not record videos, take photos, or transmit any visual data over the network.
5. Changes to this Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date at the top. We advise you to review this page periodically.
